Tournament BracketsNOTE: During the tournament, the OFFICIAL RESULTS are those posted at the Libertyville Sports Complex. NOTE - coaches, players and fans should check the games schedules posted at the facility in the event of last minute schedule changes. The championship tournament for the 6th - 8th grades will start with pool play and then move to bracket play for the semi-final and championship rounds. The seeding calculation process only uses divisional games. Seeding for the tournament incorporates division standings and a desire for teams to play cross-divisionally. This year there are 29 programs in the league, sixteen teams (first 4 in each division) play in the championship rounds and the remaining thirteen play in the friendship rounds. Both the championship and friendship tournaments begin with pool play (4 pools in each). The championship pools were determined as follows: - Pool A: North 1, West 2, South 3 & East 4
- Pool B: East 1, North 2, West 3 & South 4
- Pool C: South 1, East 2, North 3 & West 4
- Pool D: West 1, South 2, East 3 & North 4
The friendship pools were determined as follows: - Pool A: North 5, South 6 & East 7
- Pool B: East 5, West 6 & South7
- Pool C: South 5, North 6 & West 7
- Pool D: West 5, East 6, North 7 & North 8
The 5th grade takes all 14 teams to the championship tournament. Seeding was done by playing cross divisions with low seeds playing high seeds (e.g. North 2 vs South 5, South 4 vs North 3). The brackets were seeded using the divisional standings as of Mar 2, 2010. The standings used are 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th.
